Thanks for the insight Cormoran, I do believe it’s a judgement call also and should be up to the community to decide. I do commend everyone here for their honesty and do appreciate the fact that everyone is real in there comments.
I’ll be posting some pics of the current grows that I have going indoors and outdoors (for stress testing) in the grow room section and will be posting photos there also for future contest grows so that you can see the progress.

Personally I think it did break the rules and was a choice for a good cause. I have great respect for what he did and JohnnyPotseed is well worth it. He is an amazing guy. This is what I am thinking, @HeadyBearAdventures bought seeds so he has disqualified himself from this. He made a choice and I applaud him for it. So as a token of my appreciation, since I am not going to buy seeds and will be getting a pack from this event, I will let @HeadyBearAdventures pick the pack he wants and if you are cool with it you can ship my seeds to him @juno . How does that sound?

@DougDawson my dude, if anyone should get a pack from this contest, it’s you, you’re actively resisting picking up new beans, which is the heart of this challenge.
If you throw a pack of random beans my way after the competition ends, I’ll absolutely accept them, but @Juno 's selections are for the winners who earn them. I have no doubt you’ll be one of them

I haven’t worked with landrace genetics at all, but I have been lurking all over ACE, Real Seed Co., and The Landrace Team pages, and I think that’s the route I wanna go once I add my second tent sometime next year.

Hey Headybear, I shoot you some of those preservations hopefully late next year. A grow diary will be made on some but not all and I’ll update you when I start them.
I’ve been collecting all NLD from TLT but, the WLD have also peaked my interest. I also will be ordering some of their high CBD autos for some crosses early next year.
I hope to see your new tent packed to the brim with some of these landrace beauties but I’d strongly advise that you run the Jamaican outdoors to get the best outcome.

Just read through this. Cool contest and great seeds up.
Good luck to the entrants. This is actually the first Black Friday weekend sale that I haven’t bought seeds and on the wagon like some others.
It sure doesn’t help with GLG making all the threads about the sales.

I have updated the list and thank all of the participants for their participation. Those of you that have fallen off the bandwagon, next year will be the people’s choice awards and the beans list for that contest will be your choices so that may encourage you to stay on the wagon even more. Best of luck to those still in it. And don’t forget to choose the beans for next year.
