Never understood them. You either have a lot of luck with your neighbour or a lot more bullshit. My sis is in a semi-detached and I’m grateful for her she pulled the “luck” card.
Her small place still cost her 300,000K around 2008!?

That would be a multi-family home here. And no thanks. No shared walls please.
We have decent lot sizes here, can’t see my neighbors house unless in the side yard looking for it, and they are worried that when I move, they will get a shitty neighbor. Building to building? 250ft at least between, with wooded lot between us.
Shared walls? NOPE. Couldn’t do it.
