What exactly does âoverpricedâ mean? While Iâm not a big philosophical supporter, capitalism runs on the principle of âwhat the market will bear.â In that sense, nothing is overpriced.
FWIW, I agree, DeBeers promoted diamonds for wedding rings, thus driving up the desirability/price of diamonds.
