I have a good friend who is a glass artist who specializes in Botanicals…did over 1000 glass poppies for the Wizard of Oz display at Epcot, and the ornaments for the Oval Office Christmas tree in 2009… I’ll have to post some of his stuff…

A really great Botanical glass artist … Craig Mitchell Smith, one of my closest friends since 9th grade.
Told me ‘i wish I could draw, I am not a creative person’… created this unique technique of Kilning glass on his own when He got ahold of a bunch of broken stained glass from a company that was closing 13 years ago… he was 47.
He now teaches his technique at seminars and work shops all over the World…, and has displays at Epcot and did the glass ornaments for the tree in the Oval Office of the White House in 2009. Really proud of him!
This is one of over 100 leaves he did for 2 exhibits–it is in my living room…
