Yeah, above ground grown rhubarb has serious (poisonous) leafage, not those creepy little leaves! I wonder if the stalks grow “normally” because they don’t produce chlorophyll?

My mom had metal fly swatters of a cheese grater consistency to the skin. She kept a few in the car to beat and drive. I was a bad kid I guess and my brother we got smacked with them constantly, the car didn’t even stop.
