I wouldn’t worry to much about it, from what I have read recyclable plastics can only be recycled once or twice anyway and then they go in landfills anyway. The recycling thing is just to make us feel better about using plastic and not push for better alternatives . What needs to be done is all plastics should be made biodegradable into safe compounds, so that they don’t get into the food chain.
