That’s cool! I loved them. They did make army vehicles, not only trucks (or, perhaps more properly, lorries).
You might like looking here, at the Dinky Toys Military page thingy. It’s a sale site, but it specializes in Dinky Toys and their various lines. I’ve definitely enjoyed perusing it.
You can see just how 3D Dinky Toys were. They were cast, not pressed, and often had moving parts. The rear doors of the ambulance opens, and, of course, the hard rubber wheels turn. Some toys had doors that opened and steering wheels that steered. They were such great toys!
The tank’s treads turned as you rolled it along. The turret rotated, of course.
That is them I still have a few put away

I could buy some, but that’s not the same as having the ones that you played with when you were a kid.
