I so agree with that. I’ve never had a serious ambition in my life. Never wanted to “achieve” anything. My (very adult) kids are responsible people who look after themselves. I’d like to believe I was too when I was younger. I’ve also been happy to just get by, for the most part living hand to mouth, but society makes that a difficult go.
