This is indicative of contemporary US business culture. These ppl can’t get a psychological break from work because they are always on call. That’s poor leadership.
Mrs Foreigner has two phones one of which doesn’t get looked at in the evening or on weekends.
In most jurisdictions they have to give you “on call” pay to require that, but they don’t.
I love that you know what you are worth and are confident in your abilities to “carry-it-on-down-the-line” if pushed too far.
We work to live, but we don’t live to work.
