Used 4 oz. frozen EC to 10g bud for the first shake. Shaken not stirred! Back in the freezer for two hours. Shake another 5 min.
Pour through cheese cloth
Add another 3 oz. EC, shake 5 min.
Pour last of EC mixture off.
Filter that through a coffee filter to get this. Made 5 oz to be reduced to 2 oz.
Today, sweat the alcohol out
360ml down to 60ml, took about 40 minutes.
Cool and refrigerate.

You did a citric acid extraction? I’ve always wanted to see how that would turn out but reviews I read weren’t very complementary. 
Yes, it came out pretty well. It turned very red as it oxidized (and decarbed). I mixed it with steak sauce and had a yummy dinner. It would make an excellent marinade too. 
How’d you do that specifically? BKS had a citric acid extraction in her thread on GrassCity.
Citric Acid Extraction
This is a quick and simple extraction method that can be done without using any heat. You can use any kind of hash, I think dry ice hash would be perfect for this technique. The acid activates the THC instead of heat. The resulting mixture can be added to mixed drinks, marinades, or sweets.

How would that work with bud, would it need to be frozen then crushed?
I had never taken a good look at it before in her thread but it seems to be a simple hash GD extraction using the citric acid as the decarb and to provide other properties associated with the acid. I’ll have to try that and will probably add it to my thread as well since it is alcohol related. 
@ReikoX I am not sure how you setup your rice cooker as a double boiler. Do you put a mixing bowl upside down in the cooker, place a towel on it and container with tincture?
I fill the rice cooker with water (that metal bowl is part of the rice cooker) place a washcloth on the bottom to prevent it from bouncing around, then place the jar with the tincture in the water. The rice cooker heats the water. You could do the same thing with a pot of water on the stove…

Not long, a minute or so. Sometimes I see it back on the stove to soften it back up.
I missed a lot apparently. I’ve been focusing on making my living situation better and improving my edibles and damn did I 
I made marshmallows. Made a tincture with 16g weed and 4g oil. I heated the sugar up to 270-280f before letting it cool and then adding the tincture once it reaches 150f before I let the temperature climb back up to 210f and it was fully incorporated with no alcohol remaining. The gelatin I melted before I added it to the sugar and that made a world of difference. Pectin was added to the gelatin to help it set better. The Nickelodeon slime looking gel is a reduction of soda, corn syrup, corn starch, golden sugar, xanthan gum, guar gum, and msg. Sieved and whipped before using in the final stages. After mixing in the gelatin with the sugar I added it to the mixing bowl and whipped it into marshmallows 
I’ve had testers in my family and apparently 2 is too strong for people not used to edibles. I agree though that 2 was too strong for operating heavy machinery like cars 
You used 16 g weed and 4 g oil for just that batch you show? If I gave those out people would be in outer space! I make my edibles around 10mg so people dont overdo it.
Whipped up a quick batch of oil and gummies this morning. By my estimation the squares are around 15 mg each and the hearts are about 40mg. I’m keeping those for myself!
The oil was 10g of SSDD flower and 4 oz of everclear, both frozen and shook for about 3 min before filtering and evaporating. Smells amazing.
Did you let it evaporate by itself or by what means
Had to do it quick, got someone in need of meds. Turned the oven on to 200, shut it off, put the glass pan in let it evap, did it again. Then scraped it up. Probably only took an hr. Still a little gooey so been pushing it around to let it get more air, seems to oxidize a bit as it sits, was lighter when I first scraped it.
