I would chop her now
Agree. I see around 25% amber trichomes on her. She’s sativa leaning going by her leaves so if you want the full sativa effects taking her now is my recommendation BUT if you want a couch lock buzz give her an extra week maybe???
That train is pulling into the station called DONE
Chop and process as soon as you can. (you can put it off a day or two if your schedule is loaded)

This is my firstThis is my first grow and I’m trying to figure out if it’s ready to harvest. I am like like 98 days since flip.

The trichomes are looking very good, but how does the rest of the plant look?
From just what you have here I’d say they are in the harvest window.
Some bud shots will show the state of the pistils (I’m guessing almost no white).
Some overall shots of the plants will show the the state of the leaves etc.
Individual cultivars express these characteristics somewhat differently.

I can take a picture later on but there are no white pistols. They look like a mature bud. There’s some yellowing of the leaves and some crispiness from a Calcium deficiency that has been fixed. I tried to do like a fade do like a fade and do like a fade and back off nutrients and a little bit of water but I think I started it too early to get that fade that a lot of the more experienced Growers get LOL but this is a picture two weeks ago
@SILLYHAPPYHIPPY they all look good! This is only my opinion… everyone likes to harvest at different times… but I choose to harvest at:
10-25% Amber
50-80% Milky
10-25% Clear
I would harvest if I were you… I see some amber, milky, & clear trichomes. But if your schedule is busy… you have some time if needed.

They look great!
Depending what sort of stone you like; cerebral = harvest now or stoned and couch lock = a week (or more).
Personally, I’d chop as soon as convenient .
Oh …and…
Congratulations!!!
Pulling that off on your first grow is… freak’n amazing!
{For reference, that puts you about 2 sigma+ above the curve…}

On June 17th, I posted these pictures to see if she looked ready…
I had a friend check it with a microscope and we decided to let her grow awhile longer… today is harvest day!
Here’s an extra beauty shot… with flash LoL:
She became so heavy, she couldn’t hold up her top without help.
I will miss her… circle of life, you know… all that jazz, but I become attached a little bit. LoL, but I have her clones, so life goes on…
Geez dude what a bud!
Chopped today at 75 days, a tester for Copa Genetics: Black Lime Special Reserve (Skunktek cut) x GSD F5 (GG#4 x SSDD)
I’m thinking of chopping plant one down and waiting a bit on plant two what do y’all think?
Plant 1:
Plant two:
I am in a similar spot at 10 weeks. Too many clear trichs.
Great pictures BTW.
I would wait until there is a good mix of cloudy and amber trichs.
No one likes to hear the “wait another 2 weeks” but you want all the good bits in the trichs to ripen more.
Best of fortune with your grow!
Yeah, what justdrew said, another week or two before I would chop
He is correct. I chop to soon. For reasons. But if you can wait it will be better.
Below are some images I just took with my USB microscope. I like less of a couch lock feel and a more active buzz, should I start thinking about the final steps before harvest now?
Thanks for merging my post here. Didn’t realize this thread existed.
All strains is different and you wont know before you have tried different finishing times on the same plant. But a good rule is If you like more indica leaning harvest when all trichomes on the middle bud have cleared up and If you like more of a sativa high, harvest when 10% of the trichomes have turned Amber. Hope this will help you out. Pz
