I’ve split a bunch right down the center too, snapped branches usually from LST or scrogging them. A little bit of string or garden tie and they usually knuckle up at the break over time and keep on trucking.
That’s cool man I’ve never heard that but makes total sense especially with the long flowers by the equator since can have long veg and flower. This plant is truly amazing. Thanks for sharing that little tid bit
Ya I had problems when I tried shipping pucks in the mylar bags too. They would squirt the pucks out of the envelopes haha. Crazy.
Ok I was actually thinking all was good! Is this what happened? @Rhai88 the last envelope I received from you just a few days ago arrived looking perfectly fine. The beans were all perfect. There were two packs in the card. One puck was out of the bag, bag was upside down and puck was on top. Bags were still side by side! I couldn’t for the life of me figure out how it could have happened? It’s kind of a tight fit with no room to move around.
Honestly I figured y’all just got high and said screw it! he’s getting the beans and we’ll throw in the extra bag too… but I’m not opening and putting the puck in that second one! It’s time for bed! I mean the second bag was still zipped and envelope looked fine! ??? Sorry for the false assumption! @Rena93 & @Rhai88
Ahhh so the rollers are turning mylar bags into puck cannons? Crazy af.
I can actually see this. But how’d my 1 bag go upside down? It looked still perfectly side by side with the other. So weird! Beans were good though so definitely no complaints here! Just a mystery! I’m gonna break out some Scooby snacks and see what happens!
Not from you, but I miss 6 cards this summer.
I don’t know if it could be holidays for postmans or what. This week will go to Postal office to ask what happend.
From you I received the stickers in about two weeks crossing the pond, without problem.
I received your coin flips in mylar perfectly. Ive received a pack with no washer/puck that the seeds were all smashed, a couple others that havnt made it.
Yes for now I will be going back to the mylar bags/coin flips. Since I switched to the pucks I’ve had more problems than I ever did with coin flips. Again if anyone is missing anything and you’d like a replacement just let me know. I apologize for this learning curve.
I really like the idea of the pucks, I think they’re cool, but I’ve got 100% success with the flips and I’m not going to mess with it.
Not gonna lie, flips are infinitely more fun to sift through than pucks when looking at a collection.
Well THAT is fantastic info, and rules it out for the wife then
Aren’t you glad there are awesome people here! That is very useful info!
This is true. I absolutely love pucks and the mylar bags it just looks professional and I know it probably sounds dumb to others but I’m extremely visual. I loved the way the pucks from @ix3u were looking in the bags being sent out but unfortunately they will be reserved for priority boxes/envelopes if I ever get to that point with sending out beans but for now the success rates for regulars envelopes/coin flips can’t be beat.
Nothing against flips. I’m glad they work as well as they do. I just really like packs that stand out because again I’m a very visual guy haha
I put a sticker on my flips to hide the ugliness. I think it works well. But I’ve got lots of stickers.
oh yeah you can definitely dress up the coinflips!
Outstanding!
@Cartwright uses coin flips and sealed mylar. Looks nice, dry and as @ix3u said they are more fun to sift through kinda like sports cards.lol. Even @thceed uses sport card plastic sheets in 3-ring binder can flip through pages.
Yeah I get it! I started doing these after I got a pack from @Foreigner and one from @Smoklahoma . I kinda stole from both of them then disguised it as my own! A little paint, tweak a logo…
Just looks and feels nice when you send someone something!
