I currently don’t have any thoughts because im not super creative but I’ll throw some idears through the ol brain tank up there.
@Gonzo im handy running wires. We could get some wifi set up and maybe some webcams on the best parts of the island so people around the world can enjoy our beauty without making the journey.
They can be prepared of very different manners, I prefer it the simple “al vapor” (steam style). A couple of minutes in a pot with very little water, a bay leaf (optional) and ready to go. Can add a little lemon drops over before eating.
Not hard, but here every person has his own style: But there are two big aspects: With or without onion, and dry or juicer. After that… more thin or more gross. All depends on cooker likes and style.
-Well shaked eggs and potato.
First cut the potatos in small pieces and fry them. Salt to taste.
Meanwhile they are fried, shake the eggs and add a little salt. Number of eggs will vary depending on size, quantity of potatoes AND if you prefer it drier or juicier. As you can see I like it juicier. For a frying pan of 24-26cm I use around a dozen eggs, but for some people with 7-8 will suffice. Salt to taste to the shaked eggs.
When the potato are fried (-Here, again, for some people is when it is cooked, for others when is fried-crispy), I let the potatos be little crispy. Drain the oil and add the potatoes to the shaked eggs. I remove and mix it well with the eggs.
Then… put a little oliva oil in a frying pan (the size of the omelette will be the size of the pan used). Not much oil… only a little to not let stick.
When the frying pan is heated, add the potatoes with the egg, and try to make it flat. Not remove and not let the heat be so high to burn the egg (This is a sensitive moment: much heat and it will be no juicy, much time with low heat and the egg will be all cooked). When you feel it the egg is solid underside, and almost done on the borders of the pan, take a plate or something similar in diameter to the frying pan. Put it over the pan, and flip it… after that, put again in the frying pan to make it for this side. And there it is.
Variations: This is the simple version. Other variations are with jam, sausage (“chorizo”), peppers, almost anything that you could think.
And… there is a big war: Must it have onion or not?.. (Onion fried with the potatoes).
The one in the photo is the simple version with onion. Many onion was lost in falling down the fryer rack.
I wish I was chillin’ like the monkey is…
Workin’ hard to get these seeds out to you fine folks.
I still need shipping info for the following family members.
Everyone else should have gotten a notice from me saying your seeds will ship out tomorrow.
If you did not and your name is not on this list, please let me know.
Thanks @toastyjakes@DesertHeartGardens@Ris@avr1@beneficial@Bobgrows
OK. For folks who missed out on something they “can’t live without” from the MB15 crosses, I may be able to help.
Some history. Our fine man @shag passed a # of these different MB15 crosses to me awhile back. I even started some, started a journal, then got sick and I killed them. A couple I have to grow myself but not real soon. As much as @shag contributes, I thought I could give back by getting more of his seeds out to grow. I’ve been thinking about posting this for a couple days. I got a prompt when I opened the mailbox today. Slightly lumpy greeting size envelope, writing I couldn’t make out. Opened it up and testers from @santero! Thank you sir.
I likely won’t sleep better now, but I feel better at least offering.
As a collector/preservationist I will want, BUT…
If they are testers and have to make a diary or something alike, I must pass, unless diary can be private by dm to the test donator.
Here, not allowed free growing yet , and privacy and security is a must for indoor growing. And I have make a stupid move with the privacy already…
Today is a sunny day in my “island terruño”… I will walk and see what would be the best site for a home…
Not near the borders, not near the river, … Ummm… Hope there is no poisonous animals in the land.
I think the best place is where no other sound will be heard, only birds chirping and the sounds of the tree leaves dancing with the wind, with the calm sound of water running far away.
Joint time.
I think I saw @CanuckistanPete licking one of those poison dart frogs.
But we do not have any poisonous snakes that I know of.
We do have a @Yetigrows, but he is not dangerous.
Well, that really depends on your definition of dangerous, he is a big fella and might smoke up all your weed, which can be dangerous…LOL
Ahhh man bathroom work is WORK, tile, grout, plumbing… 150lb toilets that have to be lifted then aligned perfectly over a gasket without ANY possibility of actually seeing if its aligned. I do not miss that. Good luck man!
Nice, I guess I kinda forgot were, I was at…LOL
Here is a photo, we are not finished yet, it will be a new world wonder.
The toilet is so very nice and private, but the sceeters do get after you a bit.
Here is a short video of my brother testing things out to make sure they function.
Or maybe he just had to take a dump, who really knows…
