Sour Bubble Redemption Seed run **Closed**

I understand, it is all a matter of specificity. Most breeders automatically cull the smallest plants because they are seeking the highest yielding or terpiest commercially viable strains. I come more from the perspective of a home grower seeking the best personal headstash versus a commercial grower seeking the prettiest or highest yielding pheno.

I get that and my last little runt which topped itself turned out amazing. That said not all plants are strong. Not looking for the biggest and best but rather just a good selection to make seeds from. I messed with it some but at this point I need the space more than I need to fight with one sickly little plant. If I had only a few plants going I might feel different but in this case, I am happy to have on less to feed

Totally understood, more space for the winners! :raised_hands: I just happen to have a special place in my heart for the underdogs and hate to see any go  She has been trouble all along so she was just taking up valuable space and needed to go

I agree 100%. I hate culling anything and it was a tough decision.

They’re looking great! I have a horrible time culling plants. Probably why I’m always crowded lol

Same here! I have lost too many fantastic phenos by not keeping a clone. :raised_hands: My old Hero (lost long ago) took a 2 month veg to get an oz per plant but I have never found anything nearly as strong nor excitingly psychedelic and edgy so my perspective is highly biased towards the outliers. Nowadays, my favorite personal strain is Bubba Kush so I am accustomed to keeping slow vegging low yielders.

I try to stay with middle of the road veggers myself. Started to acquire the extremes on both sides

So it looks like in the end we got 6 males and 7 females. Pretty even split. The little yellow one turned out to be male.

Damn I’m excited for ya on this seed run! Really hoping you get another one of the darker phenotypes again…that girl was a winner!!

6 females and 7 males is a good number…and with the size of plants should be a shitload of seeds!!

If all goes right I’m gonna say 50-100K in seeds!

So I’ve been reading up on the plant that started my whole sour bubble craze and I found this… the smaller plant in the small tent shares some solid characteristics… it’s a long one but if anyone’s interested :sunglasses::man_shrugging:

Pheno 4 keeper

  1. This cut is INSANE

The stalks are seriously as fat as their 6 month old mother! They are about 10-12" high, the stalk stays fat as a thumb all the way to the tippy top. The plant are dense and bushy you can’t see one top, just one big bio mass of green. The leaves I am sure will be the biggest ever. Even in early veg they rival with my biggest.

This is the most robust plant I have ever grown, my keeper cut

She has the FATTEST stalks for a girl her size and age I have ever seen, her branching is insane with one topping, and is so dense I literally feel like I am growing broccoli. Her stalk stays thick all the way to the top!

She won’t stretch as much, or veg as fast, but she will put on some sexy nugs that give a nice pure indica stone, straight up wig splitter! She acts like she just wants to grow colas when topping during veg, but a little patience and she will branch out. She is not as picky of an eater either.

She puts out huge nugs with no nodes to be seen, very very very dense, extra stinky, a 1/2g small nug will stink out 2000 square feet, she smells like sour chocolate lime, thick smoke, most distinct smell after burning one, total muscle relaxer compared to other phenos, makes your temples twitch, extra potent, one small doobie could ruin a whole party, send everyone home with the munchies.

No my favorite is still the same stud muffin :joy:.

Just correlated a few things when I was reading up on PKs stuff and figured id share my findings here is all. Bares some resemblance so I thought it was interesting.

I spend so much time looking at this stuff it’s unhealthy man :sweat_smile:.

I might have the opportunity to get some original 08 sour bubble if anyone can help me verify a pack of ‘06 sensi Hindu Kush seeds packaging. I have pictures so pm me if you have any knowledge pertaining to that.

You have no idea :joy:.

I actually got to try this stuff. And it’s the reason why I sound like an absolute nut job. I want to find that exact damn pheno! Nothing has ever come close to that flavor and just overall quality. Absolutely blows everything else out of the water … no hyperbole. Kinda insane lol.

He held the cut closely for a while. But when I was away for a few years from growing he reached out to me asking for my number so we could link up finally :unamused:. Of course I was away… and of course he’s been away since then also. But I have a feeling we’ll get it done some day in the future :sunglasses:.
