Hey there, so I stripped a bunch of those Jurassic leaves because under them were poor buds crying for light. Poor things looking all pale and such. Well got more pollen tonight and will be putting up a sign up tomorrow so folks can have some. I made 30 or 40 packages anyway so it’s time to start getting it out there. Here are a couple pics for you.

If the magic dust crosses the border I’d definitely use it on a few things

Plants are looking fantastic! You’re gonna have like 30,000 seeds when this is all done :see_no_evil:

Yeah, you could sell the excess seeds on Strainly to help pay for shipping.
Seriously, thank you again for the pollen and seeds. I plan on crossing it with my PTK and making some Piney Bubbles. Also, I am happy to help with postage, etc if you’d like to take up a collection.

The pics with the spent male flowers laying all over the female plants is beautiful. Like, calendar worthy :+1:

Well here we are and I don’t have good news. I can’t figure this out for the life of me but the pollen I keep collecting just is not working out at all. After the issues I set the pollen up to dry in my 2x2 tent. Bought one of those ammo boxes with the seal and even bought another dehumidifier. The pollen just keeps going solid on me. I don’t get it. All the packets I made are now like playdough. I tried packaging some, leaving some in the dish and leaving some open on a plate in the tent. All of it is doing the same thing. I just don’t know what to do here. The ammo box has a ton of desiccant packs in it as well as a portable dehumidifier and sits in a tent with another dehumidifier. Sorry folks but I just don’t know what to do.

I feel like BOG is say. You have done enough. They want pollen they’ll have to grow out the seeds!

I am sorry :disappointed: that all the additional work you put in for the pollen hasn’t been as successful as the seed part.

How are you and the family doing?

Yeah, it’s just so frustrating. All it really needs to do is dry and I just don’t know what more I can do to encourage that. So many drying tools being used are are just not working. Within a day or 2 it starts going solid no matter what I try.

Family is doing fine, thanks for asking. Seem to be through the worst of it. Still feeling a bit lethargic but over all we are on the mend.

That does suck man, maybe next time give the old thin layer of pollen in multiple pizza boxes a try? :man_shrugging: An Epic run either way, congratulations Doug…. Bravo!

I am open to try anything, with all those drying packs and 2 dehumidifiers it should be drying. I just don’t get what is going on. It’s not that humid, the tent is down to 34% and inside the box is 39% even with all those packs and a dehumidifier. I am just stumped.

I went and checked my drying box.
I’m reading 10%RH (3x meters, same as yours)… It has been that since the start.

Maybe a bad seal?
I had an idea for repairing the seal. Run a light bead of RVT on top the black gasket. Then a layer of Saran-wrap and close the lid until cured. Trim/remove the Saran.

Notes on recharging the desiccant pack.
Use standard wall duplex socket to plug into, do not use extension cord and leave on the rug! (It was getting really toasty… missed me by that much :pinching_hand: )

Cheers
G

It was recharged for 24 hrs after the first incident. Never seen anything like this before. Heck the tent is only at 34% RH, this should be more than low enough on it’s own to allow drying. Than add to that the pile of packs and portable dehumidifier in box along with an added dehumidifier in sealed tent.
