That changes each day with high and low tide. Correct me if I’m wrong but as far as new moon vs full moon, I believe tides are the same.
If gravity does have an affect maybe starting seeds (sample size in the thousands) when the sun and moon are both rising, and another batch of thousands of seeds when the sun and moon are both setting, might yield some useful data
I thought moon phases in gardening was about the actual light of the moon shining on the plants at night.
for example I’ve read that it’s safe to expose flowering plants to as much light as the full moon or dimmer, whlie tending plants during the night cycle, because the cannabis photoperiod evolved to ignore the moonlight.
so hypothetically some herbs and flowers might have differences when the full moon is shining on them for a few nights? It makes sense. Maybe the behavior of moths and night-time pollinators is affected by the amount of moonlight.
Hmmm…
Interesting…
So the benefit of planting your annual flowers at the new moon is to give the seedlings more light in the first 30-40 days of life than under identical conditions but planted at the full moon?
Yeah man it sucks, my post office f*cked up real good man. I bought an extra 4x4 tent, two Viparspectras 350W each and have an extra inline fan for it to make sure it can run flawless BUT have no seeds for the tester. @LED_Seedz sent the seeds to me in a timely manner, but my PO even charged me extra to bring things faster and they are not even at the counter yet.
When i saw how good i did with the micro 16oz cup this time around, i saw enough time to run these autos you speak about and they will be ready way before i have to move, so… The autos take 55 days.
I know you were just yanking my chain, but i feel sad i wasn’t able to start at the same time as everyone else. @Jellypowered i apologize for any gossip or bad talk you had to put up with because of this, IF ANY.
