Like it -but I wish they did something better than the Thud Thud in the opening B.G. Love the synths in this, especially the one’s in the B.G.
Never heard Bill Evens with a singer. Really adds some charm.
Evans made a few recordings with vocalists. He recorded two albums with Tony
Bennett in the ‘70s , which I do not care for, as Bennett’s voice always irritates me.
Anyway, here is Evans with Helen Merrill recorded in 1957.

Beautiful voice. Sounds a bit like Ella Fitzgerald. Goes from soft and tender to strong but not hard. Bill Evens fills and compliments without getting in the way. Thanks!
