Smoke on the Water was written in the aftermath of a Frank Zappa concert in Switzerland. Someone lit a fire which forced the evacuation of the hall - and the smoke to creep out across the water. Deep Purple were in town to do some recording…

Woke up with worries, got O.G. on the machine, and saw “If I were a Bell” one of my fave Miles Davis tunes and now I’m feeling fine and ready for the day. (Music does it for me) Thanks for putting it up.
