I’m listening to the artists playing at the festival I’m attending in a few weeks. Both of these acts - The String Cheese Incident and SunSquabi - are playing, but on different days.
If you were around in the 60’s you know about this band. If not, they were one of the bands that made the San Francisco sound along with Grateful Dead, Jefferson Airplane Quicksilver Messenger Service and several others. Excellent musicians - Great music to trip on…
Haven’t heard much of Clifford Brown. Plays sweet and rough, expressive - enjoyed it.
Roy Byrd is better know by the name Professor Longhair. Hadicol was a “patent medicine” popular up through the 1940s, when it was outlawed. It was distilled alcohol. There are lots of songs about it in multiple genres.
