Had some of lovely food I have seen in this thread, today.
Philquisines pimped out garlic bread, and a baked brie in philo pastry, with toast, red chillie jelly, raspberry and kirsch jam and branston pickles, veggie samosas, Laceys cookies, washed down with homemade beer and finished off the Eaton Mess, and read in a bad french accent, one wafffer thin mint 
I cut a hole in the top to dunk some bread and she collapsed and leaked out, but it was so tasty.

Yes I am vegetarian, I will eat eggs and dairy just no meat.
I did it originally to raise my metaphysical energy vibrational rate. Same reason bhudist monks dont eat meat, although I am not a bhudist.
The side benifits are less consumption of hormones and antibiotics in meat as well as all the pesticides, herbicides and fungicides that accumulate in them from their gm diet unless raised organically. So it’s more healthy for me that way. There are benifits to eating meat but not enough to be in line with my life philosophy.

Like you I like my beef medium to well. We were invited to a Christmas Eve dinner and our host prepared a beautiful prime rib, rare as it should, and I had a tough time eating it. Needless to say it was wasted on me
