Cara cara are my favorite oranges so far, but any orange fresh is better than any orange that we can get in the store here.
My favorite trick is to refrigerate the oranges, then juice them for utterly fresh ice cold orange juice

instead of the true “fruit” trees…

Started seeds 2 weeks ago they still look viable and healthy so we shall see….

They are Mex “Bagseed” if you will, Hass variety Avocado

I really like oranges but we only get them when the kids sell them for the schools during the holidays. 
P.S. - I know that is a picture of a kiwi. I put that in there to piss-off @Foreigner .

There are cold hardy varieties of citrus fruits including oranges. Satsumas can take some cold. Kumquat outside here has withstood -6C over the years. Calamondins are also on the list.

I think rose hips have more vitamin C than oranges. But they are a pain-in-the- ass to squeeze.
