Cara cara are my favorite oranges so far, but any orange fresh is better than any orange that we can get in the store here.

My favorite trick is to refrigerate the oranges, then juice them for utterly fresh ice cold orange juice :grin:

I really like oranges but we only get them when the kids sell them for the schools during the holidays. :kiwi_fruit:

There are cold hardy varieties of citrus fruits including oranges. Satsumas can take some cold. Kumquat outside here has withstood -6C over the years. Calamondins are also on the list.

I think rose hips have more vitamin C than oranges. But they are a pain-in-the- ass to squeeze. :face_with_hand_over_mouth:
