Better question is it that simple to ship to Canada?

I’ll probably see mine today or tomorrow. I’m in one of those places that is a few hours or more to the next main mail hub. Sometimes I’ll mail something in state or close and the mail goes north to Denver before going south to where I mailed it.

Yeah even if I mail a letter to my neighbor it goes all the way to St Louis to be processed same town mail takes 2-3 days

And people wonder why USPS is running out of money
If I order something from bloomington(bout 1.5hrs north) they literally drive it through Springfield all the way to Hazelwood, MO “to sort it” and then back to Springfield to get delivered.

Yeah Hazelwood is a big regional sort that’s where packages go to die lol

There running out of money because of the way the government forced them to structure there pensions my wife’s mail truck is from the late 80s no bullshit and it just gets Band-Aids put on it they don’t even have a/c

Once upon a time (80 years ago), You could post a letter in Toronto (to Montreal) in the morning. It would be sorted on the train and delivered in Montreal in the afternoon.
Canada Post has devolved a lot since then…

This hub and spoke distribution model is scalable but ‘sucks the hind one’ for efficacy.

Damn that’s crazy! I would think they could say/do something about working conditions but its the Fed sooo… I’m sure thats a moot point  Good to know on the pensions though…

I believe they are the only union who has to fund pensions ahead of schedule most unions pensions are paid by those still working

It’s almost like they wanted it to fail

Sup guys… I’m late to the mufuckin party :tada: :joy:
Hey @Tappy if you still have some beans left . I would love to try out your work.

Oh man, I used to grumble and complain a little until I saw what my carrier is dealing with. Her truck literally barely runs. She’ll be at a mailbox and have to rev the motor way up and then throw it in gear again. Then sometimes it’ll sputter and chug to a stop. She’ll give it some serious RPMs and try it all over again. They must really be broke. I hate to judge them anymore. I’m glad they show up for work each day now.

The entire fleet nationwide of the LLVs are 1991 or before I believe

There has been several models considered for replacement but jeez could you imagine buying every town in the country atleast 1 the town she delivers in is like 10k people and there is 4 of them for 5 routes which means someone gets stuck in there own car everyday and that’s when they all run…sorry to jack your thread with my countries problems @Tappy
