Blumats are the only thing I would try in soil.
i saw some cheap $50 systems on amazon that had some decent reviews i was thinking about trying … although they’re probably only good for small grows … anyone have any experience with these pump/timer combos ?

I want to take a bit of the work out of watering? Would a low power sump pump hooked to a manifold valve(plugged into a timer obviously)inside like a rubbermaid tote work? Probably need a digital timer since the mechanical ones are 5min segments and 5 minutes is more than likely to much water.
