Automation - minimum equipment?

Hey all,

Still working at my new cabinet. Intended to be a relatively hands off system. LITFA and let the microcontroller handle the basics (I know me, i tweak too much too often)

pH will be controlled, managed swings through 5.5-6.3 (ie let it rise to 6.3 dose back down to 5.5 and repeat)

Water level will be maintained at a set level.

EC/TDS will be actively controlled over a 12hr period. Basically shooting for target range.

Temp/humidity will be managed actively keeping in the proper ranges.

I was thinking about load cell - using it to actively monitor growth through phases… Using pH EC and growth seems best way to monitor the overall health of the plant (no growth is it pH, ec too high or low, tweak). DWC with a sump so water level should be consistent - early it wouldn’t yield much data but after 2 week - should be useful.

Is there anything else i should really be planning on monitoring / controlling?

Thanks in advance!
