I fished a lot growing up, my dad and grandfather were into it… we caught Salmon, Trout, Halibut, Bass… I am not sure why it never caught on with me, at least for it’s nostalgia. My dad had a boat and we would go out on lakes, or the ocean on calm days and, I often caught the largest fish! 
I lived next to a lake where I caught hundreds of crappie and bluefish; I was really good at yanking fish skin off to clean them, but never liked the smell nor taste. We even dived and, had abalone (was legal back then ), Sea Bass, and lots of fun times but, I never took that up either.
I think I’m just too doggone lazy.

I love me some fish. Crappie is my absolute favorite fresh water eating fish.
Eva’s not a fan of any fish. She’ll eat it but not out of enjoyment, just because fixing two dinners is too much trouble.

I grew up on a farm… we fished every single week in summer… fish fries… family… drunk family… lol cant beat it! We had crappe bluegill channel catfish and bass in our pond…
I didnt like fishing until i was older… i didnt have patience for it when i was young… lol
