Afternoon OG. Just getting on now. I went with Zee this morning.
She and hers friends have been making quilts for veterans.
The organization is called Quilts of Valor. I think this year they made about 15 quilts.
Today was presentation day. First they had some kids come in and sing patriotic songs. Then they started giving the quilts to the veterans. It was pretty dang heart warming, to be honest. Some of those guys came on wheelchairs with missing legs. One guy had half his face blown off by a land mine. Sad, but joyous at the same time.
Anyways… I came to say Good morning anyways.

She used to do more, but slowed way down in the last year or so.
Couple years ago, she made a quilt of valor and presented it to @JohnnyPotseed at the very first Tulsa Party. She has made and given one to my brother, too. Oh yeah… And one for me!
