Heeelp! Need a Dr/Clinic to renew my ACMPR, last one closed shop. Apollo, just got off the phone with them and they want a $250 initial fee and $100 a year. Is there an outfit that is more reasonable?

If you want a bigger plant count and are okay with paying a fee…
I have used this place 3 years now.
Simple as you fill out a form, pay a fee, then wait for a video call on an app called whatsapp. Usually within a week or two. The video call has always been 5 minutes long, or less.
Then they send you your prescription in the mail, then you mail it with your forms to Health Canada.
( I just renewed mine a month or so ago, an the lady just emailed me the prescription for me to print off so I could send it off in the mail quicker)
Super easy and stress free. One year I did the video call in my back yard with my big plants in the back ground.

I checked them out but saw a whole bunch of negative reviews on their Facebook page. Good to hear from someone I am familiar with that has experience with them.

@smokenhike, I will look them up.

I (now) remember you mentioning them to me…I just renewed with License to Grow a couple weeks ago.
Oh well, thats what I get for being a pot smoker.

They lawyer said there are going to be changes to the CAMPR. People who are prescribed huge numbers like 500grams per day are going to be cut off. Also, you will actually need your doctor to agree that the medical license you are getting actually makes sense for the disease it’s treating.

A five minute call and they are sending the paperwork. Sometimes things do work out.

Don’t worry, “they” are definitely NOT coming for you.

Haha!

So expired Nov 2023.

I’m 8 weeks late. Technically 16 weeks.

Will I have to resubmit as a new applicant all over again?

Rather than a renewal?

GAD dammit .

I just got my new prescription requested for Monday

I’d just submit a renewal. On the off chance they reject it, they’ll tell you what you have to do.

I like it…

May have to do this.

Thank you for the suggestion!

I’m not sure how you go about it but the form is the same weather its a first time application or a renewal. You do have a registration number so as said, I would also go with the renewal portion. Worst case scenario they send it back and you resubmit. Just photocopy/scan your prescription in case you have to resubmit (they probably send you back everything but I’ve never dealt with that so best to have a copy in case)

My paperwork says I can grow X amount of plants indoors.
0 outdoors.

I shut my grow down indoors in the summer time, but I grow outdoors during the summer time.

Do I need to get another prescription and send in the paper work as a renewal to be legally allowed to grow plants outdoors? Then in the fall time, do the same process to grow indoors again?

Anyone know how that works?

Thanks

Yes the form is the same.

However I think you only need to fill out a certain Page , indicating you haven’t changed the address .

I did the renewal once. It was alot easier and took less time haha but it was the same form for sure.

I’ll have a look at it again when my prescription arrives and decide what to do then.

You have to state on the application “in, out or both”. You can do indoor or outdoor but not both ant the same time and your plant counts are lower. Everyone can grow 4 out without a script.
