Cannatrol cheaper alternative?

I place a bowl of water at the bottom to maintain humidity, but primarily, I aim to fit at least half a pound in that 3.0 cubic feet fridge and keep it indoors for better overall humidity control.

I ensure that all the nugs are organized like in the picture, and I refrain from opening the fridge for a minimum of 7 days. This fridge, though a bit beat up, cost me $200 when I bought it from a reseller on OfferUp. But it has served me well for drying without the need for a $1700 investment like Cannatrol.

Honestly, I go by intuition and use common sense. It’s not that difficult. The wine fridge already comes equipped with temperature control and a humidity regulator.

My drying process typically takes anywhere from 8-16 days, depending on how much product I have stored. I always make sure to disinfect and sterilize everything beforehand. I started using this fridge because the climate in the desert is terrible

Sorry just saw this.

nah…as long as u keep everything hygienic I have not had issues…I will say I will probably add a tiny PC fan inside and run it very low. Great idea !

I only grow a few small autos at a time and use a 2x2 tent for drying. with my radiant heat humidity and temperature is a constant battle usually my humidity is 30% or lless. i recently found these units on clearance at walmart and with my exhaust fan on low i’m able to maintain 66 degrees and just under 60% humidity
