Caterpillers Ugh!

They are in my darn macadamia nut tree! My plants are pretty far away though. Hopefully they stay put. I walked under it today and there were those silky web things all over the place. Yuck!
On a happy note: I let my ladybugs loose last night on my clones. Only one remains, if there was anything on them they are mincemeat now. They even ate the spiders!

Shoot I assumed it was the other way around since BTi is banned here and BTk is in every store. Shouldaā€™ known better. I applied it post-flowering anyway, so the bees were safe when pollen was available, and I always spray at night as ryasco suggested.

i think BTi is still more toxic than BTkā€¦ BTi isnā€™t banned is it?? is that why i canā€™t find mosquito dunks easily at the store?? spinosad is definitely toxic to pollinators!

You canā€™t sell it as a horticultural product anymore (here in Ontario), as far as I know. Maybe if you have a pesticide permit.

fwiw, iā€™ve been afraid to spray at night(canā€™t see shit in the day anyways either haha)ā€¦ so iā€™m spraying at 5am these daysā€¦ man my trigger hands are sore.

the bacteria need an hour or so to get into their places before the UV fries everything that didnā€™t find a niche.

and the bees. thereā€™s a fā€™n apiary next to my grow.
