I have found that those poles you used and a bit of chicken fence works great as a trellis for cukes, squash,and melons. Also if you run another horizontal pole between top and ground you can run zig zag lines to spread them out a little better. Did it with my grapes and it really helped.

Nice, thank you for that suggestion 
by the fall (which doesn’t help right now). we plan to build a welded wire mesh wall around the whole garden and use the walls like trellises. Kinda like this here,
We got Concord seedless & Green seedless table grapes. Will try to run one type on top and the 2nd on the lower.
@Hashpants, we got onions red & white & green onions growing. 
The whole idea is gonna end up looking like this
But all 4 sides & then use netting for the roof to keep birds off the food. Trying to ensure racoon, mice, squirrels, chipmunks & birds can’t enter into the food forest.
We also set up a large bird feeder & water fountain bath away from the food, so they have ample food without bothering our garden.
Gonna use 6x6 welded wire to build this, then go back and attach hardware cloth to the welded wire. This gives it strength & the small holes will only allow bees & other pollinators inside the garden area. While keeping anything bigger then 1/2" outside the garden.
Like this, built ontop of 4x4 post garden box, with stairs in the center.

For now collecting them in the freezer (after I’ve removed the seeds to dry) for future hot sauce recipes
