I am an XL. @CanuckistanPete will my $30 cover one?
You bet @THCeed
Do you mind doing that?
Already PMed Cadman
You Reggae Brother. Thanks for that.
Wel, we found a Pear tree just a few blocks away loaded with pears. So now we have some, hopefully the seeds are viable? I’m thinking this is either a Bartlett or Anjou pear
Also more Cannabis photos from the yard.
Our Blackberry bush is starting to pumps out the berries now, yummy.
The garden overall is on the decline for production, the corn we found earwigs eating the silks (I don’t think we are gonna get corn this year) the Cucumbers & Peas are done.
The Radishes bolted but still going.
The Blueberry is nearly done.
All other plants are either too young or have exhausted the fruits… We do have a small handful of carrots groing and some collyflower still.
Been collecting garlic bulbs, onion bulbs and anythingels we can get in the ground before the soil is hard. Also collecting fruit tree seeds, so we can start them, grow inside over winter & get them in the ground in spring.
Our neighbors dog unfortunately passed away, so my loving wife got a statue & painted it to give to the neighbors as a way to keep the dogs memories alive forever
Ohh & our cat, yelling at me cause I haven’t come to cuddle over coffee yet lol
Looks like a Kiefer pear. Why not take some cuttings and hit them with Hormex.GL ! Your work is really showing.
Think that will work? We can try.
Thanks we are so not done unfortunately in the garden…
Before snow comes I need to build"
19 raised bed (96"x32"x18") - (8 ft X 3 ft) garden box’s to cover 35x16 ft roughly 500 sqft using 2x6x8 untreated lumber… I’m gonna burn the wood to help protect it from the elements. While I’m building these, the corners of each box will have an 8ft pole sticking out. So I can build and attach this.
Basically making trellis walls, so in the spring I can use a netting for a roof to keep birds & other animals out of the food garden. It’s gonna be alot of work, but we’ll worth it. I should have some wood delivered this weekend for this. @Hashpants
Yes, I believe Hormex #4 is for Woody cuttings . I have #8 I wouldn’t hesitate to try that. I think Kiefer pear is a hardy rootstock
Looks yummy
Pears graft well too.
My father had 11 different pears grafted onto the same tree.
Cheers

Wow @cadman your deck looks awesome well done! Garden isn’t looking to shabby either.
@mobilly I see you are a fan of fresh tomato sandwiches as well! Damn I miss living in a hospitable environment!
I think a pear requires 7 years to reach maturity. If you grow them from seed, they have thorns!
You did a great job with your garden. Love the fence.
Little “garden tour”
New wild flour bed at the side of house for next year. With a large random bush/tree growing, ill end up cutting down and replacing with maybe a fig tree or something edable and bushy. The flower box I just gotta make the pretty, lol. Also just looking to hide that chain link fence a little more, its aprox 2x15ft size.
Blueberry patch 5x Varietys, the Blueberry box is 2x8 ft size. Will destroy this box and make a matching raised bed to the current 3x35ft raised bed, so everything matches & is level ect.
6x Fruit Tree Varietys all hopefully you can see these trees here, these are 2/3yrs old trees, So babies still.
Maybe can see if you zoom in? On the left in the nect photo. Left side we have 1x cherry bush, 3x baby Rasberry bushes & 1x med size blackberry bush. All inside this new 3x35 ft raised bed, only half of it is in photo.
Right side of garden was the pepper patch & currently home to the Cannabis + flowers & Lemon balm plants.
Photos taken from the center of garden.
Now the other side. Large new 8x4 Strawberry bed in center. With left side of 2x beds (3x8 ft) each, with 3x16 ft at the back fence & right side is the other half of the 3x35 ft raised bed.
Home to various vegetables plants, tomatoes & temp home for Strawberries. Right side is 2x grape vines & 1x Bannana plant.
Ohh here are the Cannabis plants for the 1st year growing outdoors.
Ohh yeah, this is how i treated the lumber, with fire.
