Found this vintage reflector.
Worthless…yet I admit I have trouble throwing things like this in the bin.
Found this vintage reflector.
Flower factory to be…
Holds my 3x3 tray - gravity drain.
90+ temps. These will either germinate, or be roasted like coffee beans.
No worries. Just bagseed being used for experimental fun.
I dig my light controller, but kinda T-O’d that it’s discontinued. It’s working fine, but IF it fails, what will I replace it with??? (3+ years old, out of warranty)
Titan Hades 2.
Looking around, stumbled on this “LTL Stage 3”…same China unit, just re-branded.

Handles my hobby flower room lighting just fine.
Super bonus having a night output, and a recycle timer all in one.
My veg light is on a basic stand-alone timer.
Even though those power meters look to be inaccurate regardless if your measuring on the dc side like it looks you’ll need to factor in that you will only get around 0.9-0.91 of what you will be reading at the wall due to driver efficiency loss, also make me wonder if you may be out of there normal operating voltage range thus them giving you some wonky readings as they cant accurately measure the voltage for wattage calculations.
Thanks for taking the time @Mr.Sparkle
This is my first strip rodeo, so I may be doing something wrong.
Here’s a snapshot of what I THINK I have going on.
I have 10 strips connected in series to the XLG-150.
My calc sheet…
Easy to check with a multimeter, but will note your strips are probably running at a lower voltage than what they say is typical, at least in my case with the gen 2 strips even though typical is listed at 19.5v mine run in the 19.1-19.2v range even over driven so it throws off the math slightly
Hmmm. Am I inducing even more voltage drop?
I forgot to mention the longer cabling being used for remote mounting the driver and dimmers.
From driver to DROK 6ft.
From DROK to strip array, 10ft.
Will start to educate myself on how to test with my multimeter, safely.
depending on wire gauge maybe but wouldn’t be that much all i was saying is even though they list typical voltages “typically” its less voltage at nominal current then what they list as from a reputable manufacturer perspective and legality side better to overstate certain things and come under those or visa versa than make completely false claims all together.
Roast away!
I shall join you in popping some more seeds. Probably drop some of the bagseed you sent along along with 1 other strain.
Stay safe GT
Love the nice clean set up
