I needed to get a fixin’ of some nostalgia! I remember getting so high back in the day and finding this game a fantasy!
I bought a cs 1.6 server for 7 dollars just to play some wc3ft mod like i did back in the early 2000’s.

I just started it this morning and I havent added any custom maps or worked out the kinks yet as it needs people to be play it to test all of the possible configurations. I can give out admin to people that are trustworthy!

Never played 1.6, but played a lot of Source and a little GO.

Oh man, one of my favorites. I was the kind of nerd that stubbornly refused to switch to Source until nobody was left in 1.6 servers lol. Dust 2 and scoutzknivez were my favorite maps. Ran scout/deagle pretty much exclusively.

I havnt played CS since I was a kid, I loved tgat game… then i figured out how to “hack” got caught and kicked off my pirated version lol… then I bought cs go, and it just wasn’t the same

It’s all bots now, very few real players. I remember Beta testing before it was released! This and Team Fortress Classic, Joey and I were in the top 10 world snipers, our clan of 2 
we played in all the sniper comps

Yea nobody has even joined my new server in the couple days its been up lol… Nobody plays anymore and I am sad. I was hoping to relive the fantasy of having my parents pay for my future once more but it seems thats not gunna happen!
