CSI TK x JBs Perfect Triangle seed run!(Closed)

Here’s the 3 CSI runts. (realizing now its a shitty picture blocked by one of the bigger plants lol)

And here is what I would call the healthy population of females!

And here is the latest batch of cuts that are just starting to root now.

If anyone’s curious those white “lids” are old cloroplast lawn signs from a business I used to own. Finally found a purpose for them lol. No more small buckets in this room everything has been moved to a 5 gallon bucket so i don’t have to change the water so often.

They look amazing and very happy. Sounds like an awesome cross. Good luck on this venture.

Just stumbled across this and must catch up on my reading

Today I can confirm male #6 is the 1st to drop pollen. I’ve heard that could be a good thing or a bad thing lol

There’s a theory (that might not be the best word) that it is the ‘early males’ that dominate in feral weed populations so they contribute to the collapse of the THC numbers in 5 generations.
It is documented that feral weed (from drug plants) loose their THC percentages quickly.
This is a theory that fits the data… is it correct? Don’t know. :man_shrugging:

It all depends on your male population. With 3 males his 1st could be middle of the pack out of 50. He said there were 2 males that smelled like the females. If I were doing it I would kick the one with no smell out. jmo

Yes, exactly.
I think that’s why he recommended doing minimum 20 plants.
That is a lot to handle for a hobby breeder, unless you have some significant square footage to work with. :+1:

Well I gave the runts a fighting chance but they are still runts so decided to cull them. I tried to see what male it was that didn’t smell and now they all smell so maybe i was overly stoned or something idk haha

It’s looking like ill have to change the water in these buckets every 3-4 days.

so would you kill number 6 off if it was you ?

My thoughts on it are that the other males don’t really look that far off from dropping pollen with it so with a small selection its hard to really call it a early pollinator.

true enough. small sample size so cant be to worried.
