Did anyone create a database of pics from the old OG before it went away?

When I was an active contributor on the original OG, I took great pride and pleasure in posting pot porn pics of my grows. I was lucky enough to win a few POTW “contests”, but was always blown away by the pics that other members posted. For a while, I thought the OG ride would never end, but after things got weird, I stopped visiting the site and destroyed all my stored photos.

Although I was able to find one photo of mine from way back when (probably 2002 or 2003), I’m curious to know if anyone downloaded and databased pictures before OG went away. If so, I’d selfishly like to know if they have any of mine that they can share.

BTW - here’s the one photo of mine that I found. It’s coming up on Christmas time, so it’s great timing that my one photo looks like a frosty Christmas tree!:evergreen_tree:

There was someone around who was trying to resurrect old threads and files. Not sure what happened to that project.

Thanks, @99PerCent! I hope they show up with the goods. Of course, they (or someone) will have needed to rip all the photos while the original Overgrow was still active. At this point, I don’t think it’s possible to resurrect anything unless someone has access to original files, right?

When you say things got weird, what happened?

Has anyone checked torrent sites? I’d bet it’s there.

you could try the internet archive on archive.org, although most of the archived sites are bound to be incomplete.

Thanks, @zephyr, but I tried that before my post. Perhaps the Feds had something to do with the original overgrow.com being scrubbed when they took down the site…¯_(ツ)_/¯
