Haven’t got my soil yet. Was going to find some “certified organic” stuff at my local garden center.
Trying to keep things as natural as I can.
I am really impressed with the full-on organic, no fertilizer grows I see people doing. That’s where I would like to get to eventually.

You’ve come to the right place. Lots of good info. Read up on the web of life to get a good break down and understanding on what’s going on in organic soils. The originator of this site, is who introduced most of today’s growers to it. Start with a good compost and build off of it. The idea is to allow the microbiology of the living soil to adjust for ph levels and nutrient availability among other things. Adding fungi, bacteria, and insects to do mother natures work basically. You essentially feed the microbiology and not the plants. Non chlorinated water, and sugars!
