Fluence LED study

cool study, of course it could be biased due to being run by an LED company. The interesting takeaway is that Fluence LED seemed to increase potency a bit over HPS. I"m guessing it’s due to more blue spectrum.

Also shows a few interesting characteristics of cannabis under artificial light, you reach diminishing returns by adding more light after a certain point (yield increases slow down over 600 umol/sqm). I’ve noticed that my LED’s (P.L. Light Hortiled) seem to be able to generate big yields and nug density and I"m only running about 660 umol per square meter, at the low end of the scale. These lights are spiked-up with red and blue at the key wavelengths, even more than the Fluence spectrum, it seems to work.

Yes I also believe the extra blue spectrum does help produce more trichomes, as I added 10 45w Royal Blue cobs ran around half power to my LED’S on my last grow and they were really frosty.

I watched the video at the grow shop as they carry the spider!

I run Fluence lights for veg and bloom… love them.
