ha yeah the giveaway’s are real around OG but it’s just because its full of awesome people. Proof they still exist is pretty cool.
A lot of new members popping up for sure though lately. Cool to see OG grow. Hell I’ve only been here a year and have been seeing a lot of cool things!

I worry a little about all the new users, actually. We have seen these waves of giveaways before and now its really on overload with so many its impossible to keep track. I had to stop doing them for an entire summer just to slow the number of new members joining just for free stuff. So while growth is good its better to get quality over quantity. Just something for us all to keep an eye on. I am a pretty big contributor to this issue sadly. I love to give out seeds but the conciquences can be painful. Will have to see how things look in the future. In the mean time I look forward to your event bud and @Heliosphear 's race

Eventually it’ll be better to do certain trust levels or whatever… make it something to earn type deal… then again it isn’t hard to climb the ranks… but nevertheless something in the long run like that may divert the fly by nights that come in for 1 thing and don’t contribute in any way…

I understand what you mean but I feel that will always exist no matter what. There are core people here who actually love the community and what is going on and will be here whether the free stuff is there or not. However on that note I’m actually going to chill out myself after this one until 4-20 @Heliosphear and I may have something up our sleeves for then that will only be open to TL2 and higher. For the exact reason you mentioned.
Either way… again I thank you and the consistent OG’s that make this site turn! Much love!

I remember when I started here a lot of giveaways were based on pips. I remember thinking man I can wait to get six, lol. That was kinda the number that most started at. Good times working toward those pips.

Well, I think I am not going to have luck today… my drill just stopped working when I more needed… not appear to be a lucky day 
But for sure will be generosity flowing on all OG thanks to people like you (I don’t want to mention all, because are so many giving people here, that for sure be leaving many forgotten…)

You sure did @Gonzo and thank you for everything you have done for me, it’s very appreciated, not here for seeds but it is nice to have a couple sometimes but most and important it’s the love here that’s why I will stay here, a lot of great OGers here and it’s people like everyone here is what keeps the love going

I remember that too! When I first joined I was working like crazy to reach 6 to be included in some of the more private giveaways.
