Ok folks, I took the list from before it was messed up, copied it off, took out those who had added themselves back and integrated it again so now all names that were there are back. The wiki is back open. Please take the time to read the wiki etiquette thread and be careful when editing. Really didn’t want to sit here on my Sat night sorting through 40 names. Have a good night everyone.

I am on there twice. i og put myself at #2 but later added a different place because of all names being erased.

I would doubt it was on purpose but the fact is that when you are in on edit 2 there is no reason for you to be in there again at edit 38. Also very strange to edit a wiki, save, see all the names are now gone and then just move on. I don’t know about the rest of you but when I edit a wiki and click save I look to see my change was saved. Hard to imagine not noticing a list going from 35 people to 4. I would like to think this was an honest mistake of some kind but am having a hard time figuring out how it happened at all.

Click slow, watch the upper right-hand corner, click slow again, then double check my edit.

Very interesting I don’t know how that happened I’m almost always using my phone I tried to sign up and it prompted me that someone else had posted so I backed out and started over I thought it was strange because I don’t think anyone added themselves when I went back in ad signed up
My apologies I will take any punishment that you see fit but definitely never my intention to do such a thing as I have had several successful goes at it sorry to all that were affected but this mistake

I’m sorry you were erased but it wasn’t by me.
Spots 1 and 2 were empty when i opened the thread for the first time. See screenshot i took at 4:49 PST, before i signed up, below.
When i do get a Wiki warning, i cancel my Edit and return later to try again.

I have no interest in punishing anyone bud. All I can think is that after you saved you might have clicked edit mistakenly. Then when you saved that edit later it wiped all those that had signed up since you hit edit again. I hate using my phone on OG. All sorts of shit seems to happen with my big thumbs, lol. We shall just move past this and call it a lesson for all as to how badly one edit can make a wiki. Nobody was really affect but me bud as I fixed all the missing names so don’t sweat it. Just watch when you click save. If a mistake is made reach out so I can correct before it get’s worse. Otherwise it’s all good mam.

LOL, no but if someone does this on a Co-op sign up they will get removed and not be allowed to participate. It’s a Co-op rule. It’s one of the reasons I started doing these wiki sign ups, to get folks used to editing without errors. Imagine signing up for a Co-op you spent a couple months following only to find out you had been removed and now the sign up is full. While I am not a fan of punishing folks we had to implement the rule as the last few sign ups have been quite disgusting. So let’s all just learn from our mistakes here so we don’t have them happen when it’s really important.

Understood I will definitely pay better attention if something seems off to me but as an example I feel I should have to sit out on a few of your wiki’s on principle because this issue has been talked about several time in the past few months especially around co-op time so pick a number of sit outs and I will sit on the sidelines
