Sorry I have given out all the Sour 13 seeds I had to give out. Maybe someone will be making more seeds with what I gave out.
Hell yeah bud, awsome win! Congrats
Thank you @DougDawson for another great opportunity.
Howdy OGer’s I have some of what I believe to be mango haze bag seed. 9 (probably regular) seeds from around an oz of overripe mango buds I got at my wife’s parents Christmas gathering a few years back. Bud was grown around the northern rivers region of New South Wales for a fair few generations id say, as my in laws have been getting it for years. Anyways happy to send to whoever is interested, I want to give back to this awesome community that is overgrow. I’ll throw in a few random bag seed off my plug for good measure too
Very kind of you my friend.
I did give @DougDawson first dibs as he is so generous with everything he does. He graciously declined and suggested I offer them up. Blokes a gentleman and scholar, and I figured he’s got a couple of beans to get through first
I mean, are these being shipped from NSW? I’d be almost as curious about the Aussie bag seed, as I’ve seen some pics of some outdoor monsters coming from down under, but that also seems like a hefty pile of stamps would be required to get them to USA?
Shipped from Qld. I’d say it’s around $15-$20 usd or something like that? I sent 10kg of retro consoles and games to the North Cali/Oregon area awhile back it cost $180/$18 Aussie dollar a kilo.
I appreciated it too but yeah, you hit that nail right on the head, lol.
I’m all good to cover shipping as well
Well I feel a bit greedy seeing as I just got a sack of pollen just a few moments previous, but I’m honestly very curious about the bag seeds. I’m game but leaving it open for anyone that wants to steal. I’m actually growing some Australian Bastard Cannabis on one side and some Raspberry Jam Wattle trees for their tryptamine content on the other, so I’ve got a whole Aussie section going
Raspberry Jam Wattle, huh?
That’s a new one on me. Color me curious!
I just reread my message to see if I made it sound like that was variety of weed haha! Yeah it’s a type of Acacia tree that gave up having leaves and has these things called phyllodes which are flattened petioles or “leaf-stems” that look almost like blades of grass. The Raspberry Jam Wattle is Acacia Acuminata and apparently the wood smells like raspberry jam when cut and some parts contain a considerable % of DMT. Seemed so bizarre I kinda had to try growing them.
Acacia are nitrogen fixing as well, so good to have around, you can plant other stuff right next to it and it should grow fine.
Send me your addy I’ll get ‘em out to you next week mate
Yeah, I’m currently reading about them.
Was curious about the tryptamine content.
I assume that you’re growing from seed. How far along are ya?
Lol I’m trying to get my Aussie buddy to send me some Jam Wattle. Still not budging after a couple weeks.
Too cool! You’re very generous to send those beans on an international vacation! Details inbound!
@Rogue heck yeah I have been seeing some folks using clover as a nitrogen fixer even for indoor grows. I’m not sure if the turnaround is that rapid but I think it’s a cool idea to explore for sure.
Turnaround on clover is extremely fast. You should look at “cover crop mix” and not the winter ones. All my living soil boxes get cover cropped start of the grow, I cut it down a bunch 3 weeks in, let it grow again, repeat. Reseed it every once and awhile.
Nitrogen goes into the plant material of the clover. So you’re using it to pull that nitrogen out of the air then composting it’s biomass.
I’ve got 3 plants that are currently growing at a decent pace, but they need every phyllode they have for now. Hoping to get them to a bushy 5-6 ft. and then trim them every year and hopefully net a few trips. Acacia Maidenii and Confusa have both been easier for me to grow, but neither has that x factor of smelling like raspberry jam lol!
