Fixing soon to go out to the ‘farm-inna-barn’ and wake the girls up, and feed em!I know most folks with the number of plants that I have would use timers…I guess I’m just a ‘control freak’! lol I tried em and don’t care for em. I always was checking to make sure they didn’t malfunction or anything like lol I prefer to turn on the lights myself and water/feed all the plants by hand… adjusting for lighting, dead-leafing, etc as I go.

For real though this site is awesome. I came here seed poor. Found cheaper places to purchase seeds. Gave a bunch away. Got a bunch. Traded a few. Crazy to think in other corners people are hiding their genetics for big dollars. I always pictured legal pot being something like overgrow when I pondered what it would be like some day. Should have known it would be 500 dollar clones and 20k seed packs

Ever since I fell in love with marijuana in the '50s I’ve done my best to spread the flower/seeds everywhere I traveled! lol ‘Over Grow the World’ was my motto many decades before OG, that’s the thing that caught my attention in the late 90s…the name! It fit so nicely into the way I lived, was like it was meant to be!

It was a kinda ‘given’ that I’d be involved with marijuana from the time I was born! lol My gramps grew/smoked/sold until the day he died at 92 yrs old in 1968. I grew up on his farm… started smoking at 8, helping to harvest by then also, and trimming by the ripe old age of 10!3rd gen gorilla grower that I know of and I think it’s maybe 4th gen at least. Because I grew up listening to gramps stories of how he started smoking at 6! So he had to got it from somewhere, and where else for a kid that age but his father!

We come from very different worlds my friend. But things do change. I never woulda thought it. But my dad is terminally ill and I have recently started supplying his medicine. Feels good to at least have something to offer to take the edge off.

That’s awesome! Just before my dad passed in the early '90s of cancer and a couple other things, he gave me his dope tray made of woven hemp. I still use it to this day.

That’s cool! Mine won’t smoke with me he’s being weird as hell about the whole thing. But my mom told me he laughed for the first time in ages so I’m satisfied. At least he’s smoking it.

We made edibles for my dad since he couldn’t smoke anymore. The last year for him was made a bit easier for it! That tray is a constant reminder of the good times we had. Every time I pick it up to clean and roll…
edit… He damn sure did love them pot brownies mom made!

Yep, it is. It sits right beside me and all day, every day, it’s used! Glad you can help your dad too! We made hash the old school way, with silk screen then measured it into the brownie mix, or fudge mix…

That’s a great story it’s hard for me to reconcile the way I was raised and the way the world viewed and demonized cannabis with the ever increasing sentiment towards it now I grew up with it my father even my grampa grew yet it wa illegal it waß bad it shaped the way I viewd the world NY is legal now working on a “market” yet I wa busted not even a month before they passed it it’s tough for me to get over all those things I wish I had my old mans stash box it’s gone who know’s where anyway that’s why I love this place legal or not subverting the bs laws prohibition or even "the cannabis industry " is just in my blood
