Yah me too! So far my first batch of freaks had only type-1 leaves. But petal sent me a 2ed bigger pack to hunt. Hoping to find at least 1 female or 1m1f of the type 2 leaf before doing any breeding with them.

someone on here gifted/traded a few freakshow seeds with me but the one i popped didn’t sprout. it’s a novelty more than anything else. the ABC looks pretty cool though.

Yeah those Freakshow beans always look pale and undeveloped. Probably a genetic weakness that is either directly associated with or close to the leaf mutation genes. Or just a result of drastic inbreeding to fix the leaf characteristics
But I had like 6/9 sprout when judging by the seeds I expected maybe 1. Then I promptly killed 3 seedlings.
Got to update my main growlog (some freak pics) it’s been like two weeks. There was a harvest. Lots of shit. But now I am clearing the decks for Bubblegum!

It was just luck. 2020 reached out to me because he saw I was growing some freaks so I guess he knew I was into them.
At least I am pretty sure that’s where they came from. I do smoke some weed…

I have a pack of 2020s Freakshow x Stealth Fighter and they are kinda pale looking, I haven’t popped one yet but I’m curious to see if they have either trait

From what I hear both are recessive, so I wouldn’t expect it in those seeds, but the next generation should have 1/4 of each mutation, so 1/16 should have both mutations, so you should probably run as many as you can, but at least 32, to try and get both a male and a female. Thankfully the first generation should give you hundreds and hundreds and hundreds to search through.
And with a big enough number the hope would be to find 1 M and 1 F that have both but that also have no hermie traits.
