Yeah my brother brined and smoked a turkey for thanksgiving it was to die for. Anything with some salt and spices on it for a few days really makes meat tasty. Salt was the #1 preservative for thousands of years. It’s magical

Can’t argue that. I did 2 years so was living outdoors from age 15 to 17. Gives you a different perspective for sure.

Folks that have grown it out describe the smell as alien fruit punch, nose burning, eyes watering when you open the tent.
