I have a 27 gallon tote with a lid ( which was no on the tote ) as a reservoir!
And after filling a 5 gallon bucket from it to fill the Octopot I noticed something swimming around its f&$€£ tadpoles ! Little baby frogs !
I dumped the water out side
We have a lot of frogs in our area . Where I live the development was made on marshlands so we have forges, turtle’s and all sorts of critters!
Some may have made their way into the reservoir of my Octopots
Now its almost impossible for me to empty everything the plants are all in place in the scrog net
I feed with salts at 700 ppms and I added a small amount of bleach to each Octopot but I don’t know what to even think i wow
I could use a siphon to empty each one but do you think that would help if there in the reservoir?
Wtf
What do you think I should do
Just leave it alone
Or empty each reservoir of the Octopots
So crazy timing but I thought there was a brave mouse making noise behind my tents earlier this week while I was in the basement working on stuff. Two god damn frogs hopping around so I know the “wtf are you doing in here” all too well… None in the Octopot reservoirs- yet, I think. Now I’m gonna be watching for tadpoles
I’d say just let them be if removing them is too much of a hassle. To my understanding tadpoles don’t eat roots and aquatic plants just microbes and bacteria growing on them? Who knows, you might just become the father of amphibioponics!
You go Paps!!
Many years ago, the great OG’er, Filthy Beast ran the first thread I saw with they an outdoor set up, like a raised bed, with pond liner, with fish, frogs, and other life forms, his cannabis plants and some other plants, all together.
I was so in love with that set up.
I think they will live and thrive just fine, Papa.
Think of ocean water, is 35 (PPT) parts per thousands, more saline than fresh water, life does just fine in both environments, and even where ocean water meets fresh water, life is abundant there.
When I ran Out Laws system, organic medium raised plants, then inserter into a hydroponic aqua trays, fed with salt fertilizers, I found huge worms in the hydroton , when cleaning that system.
It is just new pets, LOL!
