I would say that anything listed as 2000w is a marketing ploy and not a 2000 watt light at all. At least I have never seen one anywhere near that powerful however I have seen many deceivingly advertised as 1000 or 2000 watt lights. With that Mars 800 watt light you will get an 800 watt light.
