You have the Papaya bomb too? Nice!

I’d take anything. Snips are great, and rooted works too. I can send snips for a stamp with that method so I’m always swaying that way. :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

Do snips make it and survive? Last time I got snips … they all died. 🫣

Oh yes they do. They are small and take a bit to root, but they root!

I’ll reach out to you when I am ready to send
@Rhino_buddy yes I have papaya bomb also. Running her for the first time now.

I root in vermiculite. If you dip the rootball into water all the vermiculite will fall away

People send me snips that have been placed in plastic ziplocks… no moist paper on their snipped ends, just raw cuts in a bag. I receive them, dip them in dip-n-grow (no snipping/trimming… straight from the bag they were shipped in), and stick them in rockwool or just leave them touching some rockwool… they always all root for me, like this: I was sent 6 snips and put 4 in the rockwool and then set the extra two cuts in the center of the cube… just touching the rockwool so they didn’t dry out… and they look like this after 6 days:

Thank you!
That answers my questions.
So multiple snips are good. :v:

I definitely prefer to receive 3+ snips if rooted clones cannot be sent… if the snips were not taken from 100%healthy plants they can take longer to root – 2-3 weeks if the mother plants were really unhealthy-- and its nice to have at least two clones: one to mother and one to flower out ASAP

So true. I’ve learned to feed my mother plants a day or 2 prior to taking cuts. Doesn’t always happen, but That way they are usually happy to root.

The 2 cuts that made it are still active in their rockwool cubes!
One is doing much better than the other but all ya need is one cut to make it and it’s a success!

@Rhino_buddy someone dumped a fuck-load of chopsticks into my communal kitchen at work so I grabbed a handful and an equal # of “cheque safe” (can’t see through) envelopes for the future :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

@Bobgrows , this is a freaking rad thing to have worked out so well!
