Mainly cause I don’t feel like doing their math for the exact pressure for different surface areas so I’ve gotta experiment. 3000lbs blew out a 120 micron bottle tech bag last night and then I managed 5k on a 90 micron bag of ground of up weed. The return on pressing my bag without folding or bottle tech wasn’t very impressive and seemed wasteful but I pushed 9000lbs on a completely flat bag with no blowout… Just wasn’t impressed at all with it’s return.
Just trying to figure out the best way to use this specific press setup I guess. I’m of the trial and error type. I had a full one gallon freezer bag of pressed bags from my 4 ton press experiments before I found the specific best way(s) to do it lol, I think I’m up to 5-6 presses on this in different ways to see what each way does, so far just lots of blowouts, which I guess is better than bad or no yields
Mix of press club and Dabpress bags, my 90 are dab press but the 120s I’ve been using a lot are Dabpress, haven’t tried buds in the press club bags on this 10 ton yet only ground up weed. Still experimenting lol
Have you thought about the humidity of your starting material. The more moisture the bigger the holes need to be to account for the bag getting bigger.
I know a guy who knows a guy who makes concentrates professionally so when this stuff was offered to me I wanted to see how it stacked against my home made bubble. I must say this stuff is banging! Just top notch. I think the difference is the terp profile is strong and obviously better preserved than mine, which I believe contributes to the earth shattering high…Either way my goodness it’s
I think so? It was made in a professional space and I think they need those? Im honestly pretty new to any concentrates, literally just this and home made bubble and home made rosin. Whatever they did it’s good
Just washed some dreadbread and willie dog, will post pictures of the hash in the freezer later. I just mixed the two because the dread bread didn’t really yield. The smells I’m getting are amazing the willie dog is making some floral gas while the dread bread added some tangerine smells.
If you only had 2 bags which micron would you use, Have a batcg comming and ony want to “shake” 2 bags – thinking 73 and 160 micron or 90 and 120 micron’s - 73 micron and 120 the do a 220 micron for cooking ? Thoughts ??? (dry ice method)
