It was probably isopropyl alcohol washed back then.

With a distillation pressure cooker

and then in a small kind of pan let it evaporate till most of the solvent is gone.

Lol we called it honeycomb or crumble. But it was whipped at like -50 degrees and stabilized into big half lb + bricks.
