When Iām in there with them, we listen to the Dead, sometimes for hours if Iām harvesting or training or reworking my soil mass, you know the chores indoors lol.
Iāll also play reruns of DS-9 for my own pleasure.

I read it can disrupt bugs in the air and that can help reduce disease spread but that sounds like BS.

yes, metal is good vibration . haha. i preffere it over some of āmorally acceptedā music.
but i still am slighly biased probably, and cant tell the good from bad probably to a degree.
Still hoping they like techno.

when i was a kid my grandmother told me that music would help the plants grow im wondering if there is anything to that playing music in a grow room

There are quite a few studies on this out there but the basic consensus always seem to beā¦
itās not so much about the sound of the music, but more to do with the vibrations made by the sound waves.
I always jam music in the grow while Iām tinkeringā¦ Not sure if theyāre huge fans of heavy metal?? 
Thatās what I play my plants.

Music - of the classical kind - can be beneficial. Rock, metal, techno, rap, celine dion, baaad for plants 
Specific geometrical shapes can - according to some - relieve stress and help with pests.
I cant remember off the the top, but theres an intricate 3d metal shape that can be hung from greenhouse ceilings that gained some traction a few years agoā¦
I donāt intentionally play them anything but the tent is 3ā from the amp so they get a nice mix of extra loud classic rock/metal concert somewhat regularly. Canāt say itās helping but it definitely isnāt hurting.

Everyone should know, that music & plant growth is a well studied phenomenon. Has anyone ever tried to grow stronger plants by subjecting you plants to different music?
What did you notice?
Weāre results measurable? Or possibly placebo?

I have read about this idea before. I dont know about a specific kind of music but I definately believe specific ātonesā or frequecies can open stomata to allow more co2 intake.
