Facebook has a group called “Regrow” that has used equipment. Lots of lights available around me, and nationwide. Craigslist is another option.
You can save a few dollars and get some nice equipment, some is still “new in box” for hundreds less than new.
A lot of businesses have gone under and have seen quite a few pop up on Bidspotter.com. One of the last ones I looked at had about 350 bar style LED’s, $1100 new, and most sold for around $250 still unwrapped in the box.
Check out this company: LED Grow Light Depot.com - there you will find many companies LED (many are quality lights) Hope this helps your hunting - In the long run if your budget can handel it get quakity. my 1st LEdDs were or GalaxyHydro 300watt LED- dimminable - veg-flower- got two for $89.00 for each - they just didn’t give the results I wanted - Got better grows using 500watt CFL’s w/ sidelighting - The only thing I can say I got into the LED thing cheaply wish I had payed more a got qualit Led’s - (these were from china (maybe that’s was the problem) now QB 's are the answer. In ther long run you will save money if you get aquality LED NOw when I up-grade (3rd time) considering “bars” for a better footprint/spread. Comes down to your pocket book !!! Good Luck - hope you see the the Light !!!
went to site couldn’t find any lights (Bidspotter.com) but will be watching __ Thanks for the heads up – A 350 bar for $250.00 what a steal !!! have to look at “regrow” but don’t belong to facebook
For the 1m×1m check out this one.
I’m eu too, this one is quality and the build is solid.
They pop up on Bidspotter every so often, there have been 3 in the last couple months. Last one was a hemp facility in Kansas City, and they had everything sell for pennies on the dollar. You also have to look thru all the auction options, mostly I am looking at the “Metalworking” auctions for equipment for my business.
Thanks for the information !!!
I really like my Mars Hydo. I’ve been using the TS3000 for about 3 years and liked it well enough to buy a used one as backup (same model). It has never given me any problem, the light is adjustable in strength and I run it 24/7 for two months solid during veg with no incidents or accidents. They’re NOT cheap, but they are reliable and cover 5x5 in veg and 4x4 in flower.
I have had a mars hydro tsl2000 in 12 hour daily service for almost 3 years. A very good light. Would I buy it now? No. Too much new stuff, specifically the bar style which I’m lusting after.
I’ve also got an HLG100 which is also an excellent light which I would consider purchasing again now if the price was right.
I really wanna Migro bar but that’s not going to happen.
With LEDs these days, it all comes down to quality (namely, efficiency and spectrum) of the diode and total watts to the fixture (wall draw minus driver draw = true watts to the lamp).
If you are paying more than $1.25/watt, and aren’t sure you are getting premium, top-bin tuned-spectrum LEDs and high-efficiency drivers, you might take a look at some SolStrip systems. A proud and long-term Overgrow sponsor.
Some great starter lights on clearance right now.
Many thanks to all for your comments.
I think that I will go for the niello, it is under my $… And had meanwell driver and 301b…
Thanks guys!
Still running my 1st generation SolStrips with the LM561C diodes five years later. I’ve thought about upgrading them to 301B diodes, but if it’s not broke, don’t fix it.
